Easy-Gully

KMC has developed the the Easy Gully pot series to meet the requirements of the management bodies, designers and enterprises to have compact, cost-effective, almost maintenance-free gully traps that can be installed easily and quickly.

The Easy Gully pot series can be used on either waste or rain water. Besides the Easy Gully pots, KMC has developed purposely-allocated cast iron covers and drains with telescopic function that reduces the installation costs and the subsequent readjustment, if required.

The EASY GULLY DN 400 pot has a very smooth surface inside, with no sharp edges, as all other pots of the series. Their hemispherical bottom prevents from clogging. Thank s to the big volume of water storage and to the small surface, the evaporation is reduced to the minimum, thereby avoiding the smelling gas coming from the main duct.

Advantages versus the conventional systems

It can be handled and installed manually

Thanks to its lightness and easy installation, the Easy Gully pot allows for savings on site which can be calculated in working days. This makes the system extremely advantageous.

No clogging

The Easy Gully pot has an edge-less hemispherical bottom which prevents storing up and clogging.

Less manteinance required

As the section reduces and at equal pressure, the spherical bottom increases the output thrust, thus creating a vortex which allows keeping the base always clean.

Reduced management cost
The siphon is open, thus allowing for inspection without any need to remove the plugs on the clogged duct, which is therefore under pressure.
Reduced smell
The volume of water inside the Easy Gully pot must go below the minimum overspilling level to allow for the exit of gas from the main network. The impermeable structure and the wide surface of the Easy Gully pot make almost impossible the evaporation of the quantity of water which would take the level the threshold
Reduced volume
Unlike the conventional concrete systems, where the plastic material curve or the syphon is mounted inside, the Easy Gully pot series is directly installed in the ground. Furthermore, the circular layout allows for pointing the outlet of the inspection chamber directly in the direction of the duct and eliminates the costly bends and special parts, which are usually required and often generate clogging.
Lower cost
The Easy Gully pot is supplied ready for use. No heavy means are required and the complete installation only takes half an hour.
